Get ready to supercharge your storytelling in this fast-paced, hands-on workshop exploring the power of narrative-driven filmmaking and post-production. Whether you’re working with high-end gear or just your phone, you’ll pick up creative hacks and industry tricks to make the most of what you have. Step beyond the shot as you engage in directing, editing, and genre-switching in this high-energy, immersive creative process. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have produced your own short film to share with the group, showcasing your unique vision and newfound skills.

Years 7–10 Media Arts (ACARA 9.0) Students develop and refine media production skills to communicate ideas, perspectives, and meaning through images, sounds, texts, interactive elements, and technologies. They experiment with representations, apply media conventions, and reflect on their own and others’ work to inform creative choices. Using media languages and production processes, they design and produce works for specific audiences that meet or challenge expectations while practising responsible media use.
