2021 HOTA Gallery Program Update

Share

Today we’ve announced a change to the 2021 HOTA Gallery Program.

We’ve already welcomed more than 75,000 visitors to the Gallery since throwing the doors open in May; and to ensure that as many Gold Coasters and visitors can experience the HOTA program, our second major exhibition, Lyrical Landscapes: The Art of William Robinson, will be extended for an additional two weeks, until Sun 17 Oct.

As an added bonus, throughout school holidays all children can visit the major exhibition free of charge. You can read more about that here.

As we continue to be nimble in our response to COVID, our third major exhibition of 2021, Contemporary Masters: Art from the Mugrabi Collection, New York, will move to 2023, when we’re confident that interstate and international visitors can experience this incredible exhibition, exclusive to the Gold Coast.

We’ll be announcing HOTA’s next major exhibition in November, which will be part of an unapologetically-fun program that celebrates summer in the way only the Gold Coast can.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
