ZINE DREAMS

ZINE DREAMS

In this dynamic workshop, children are introduced to the DIY fundamentals of independent publishing by creating their own mini-booklet or zine. Through guided exploration of different text types, stencil work, and collage, participants can experiment with fun formats such as comics or visual diaries. This workshop encourages self-expression, sustainability, and imaginative storytelling, offering children a unique holiday activity that blends art, writing, and play.

ZINES: COLLAGE, VARIOUS RECYCLED MATERIALS

Aims:

  • Learn simple techniques for combining text and image

  • Express moods, messages, and ideas through their own creative “manifestos”

  • Discover how their zine can continue to grow and evolve beyond the workshop
