#General

What hours are the Box Office open?

Mon-Sat 9am – 7.30pm & Sun 10am – 7.30pm

How do I buy tickets?

You can purchase online, in person or contact the Box Office on (07) 5588 4000.

The Box Office is open Monday to Saturday, 9am – 7:30pm and from 10am – 7:30pm on a Sunday.

Hours on public holidays may vary.

Can I exchange my tickets for another performance?

You may request to exchange tickets between performances of the same production, at a cost of $2 per ticket. Please contact the Box Office on 5588 4000 to process the exchange.

I’ve lost my ticket – what do I do?

No need to worry. Please contact the Box Office on 5588 4000 to arrange a reprint. If they were emailed to you, we can also re-send your tickets.

If I’ve selected Print-at-Home to get my tickets, when will I receive them?

Generally, you’ll receive your tickets via email within 1hr of purchase. If you have not received them within 24 hours, contact the Box Office.

I’ve opted to collect my tickets from the Box Office, when can I collect them and what do I need to bring?

You can collect your tickets from the Box Office after the order has been processed. You will need to bring photo ID and having the order number handy to speed things up at the counter.

Why is there a transaction fee on my booking?

The transaction fee covers the cost of payment processing.


#Refunds

My event has been cancelled or postponed – what do I do?

Sit tight – we will contact you once the details have been confirmed via email and phone (if you haven’t provided an email address).

For postponed events, you will be automatically transferred to the new date and time. You will have up to 4 weeks (if applicable) to request a refund.

Any requests after this will be at the discretion of HOTA or the production company.

If a performance is cancelled, refunds will be processed and returned to the credit card used at the time of the booking.

I booked tickets to an event at HOTA and can no longer attend. Can I request a refund?

Refunds are only available when an event has been cancelled or rescheduled. You can find our terms and conditions below.

HOTA is a member of Live Performance Australia and adhere to the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice which highlights industry best practice – you can find the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice below.

Generally, incorrect purchases or change in ability to attend an event will not be approved.

Refund or exchange requests are unlikely to be considered post event.

#Any Day Any Time Tickets

When can I use my Any Day Any Time ticket?

You can use it for any session from 10am - 3pm. Our last session of the day is 3pm, to allow an hour to enjoy the exhibition before the Gallery closes at 4pm.

Can I come back and use my Any Day Any Ticket a second time?

No - our Any Day Any Time tickets are single use only, and allows you access to one session.

Can I purchase an Any Day Any Time ticket for a friend?

Absolutely - it's the best way to enjoy the freedom of being able to attend any day you want!

Can I buy more than one Any Day Any Time tickets?

Absolutely - but there is a limited amount available, so be sure to secure your tickets sooner rather than later.

#Season Pass Holders

When can I use my Season Pass?

You can use it for any session from 10am - 3pm. Our last session of the day is 3pm, to allow an hour to enjoy the exhibition before the Gallery closes at 4pm.

Can I come back and use my Season Pass a second time?

Yes, the Season Pass grants you return access to the Sneakers Unboxed: Studio to Street exhibition.

Can I purchase a Season Pass for a friend?

Absolutely - it's the best way to enjoy the freedom of being able to attend the exhibition as many times as one wants!

Can I give my Season Pass to someone else to enjoy?

No - the Season Pass is available to one person only. Our friendly staff will ask for identification before entering the exhibition, to ensure the pass holder is assigned correctly.
