For Artists

HOTA supports creatives at every career stage. Here's how to work with us.

Work With Us

HOTA is always on the lookout for bold, adventurous and innovative work. We welcome pitches from producers, artists and companies at any stage of development - whether your show is ready to tour, or you’re exploring a concept and keen to collaborate on its development.

We're particularly interested in boundary-pushing work that connects with Gold Coast audiences, or champions Queensland creatives.

Funding

HOTA actively supports artists and cultural organisations through a range of funding programs, grants and commissioned works. From our flagship Experience Gold Coast Arts Fund to the Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award, there are multiple pathways for financial support.

Experience Gold Coast Arts Fund

The Experience Gold Coast Arts Fund champions artistic excellence and innovation, backing Gold Coast creatives at every stage of their careers to bring bold ideas to life – from digital storytelling, live music, mixed media art installations, major community engaged projects, and contemporary circus to mainstage theatrical productions.

The focus of the fund is to grow visibility, exposure, capability and the reputation of Gold Coast artists. Funding supports local artists to partner with other local artists, national artists or even international artists to bring imaginative ideas to life.

Introduce yourself.

We love hearing from artists. Tell us about your creative practice and we'll keep you in mind for upcoming opportunities, commissions and programs.
