Songcraft Studio: Writing & Recording with HaydenGoSeek

Following the success of our 2025 program, Songcraft Studio returns with a fresh focus on songwriting and accessible recording techniques for secondary students.

Led by HaydenGoSeek (aka Hayden Andrews of Cheap Fakes), this workshop invites young creatives to explore the full arc of song creation, from idea to demo. With an emphasis on creativity over perfection, students will gain hands-on experience writing lyrics, crafting melodies, and using easy-to-access recording tools to capture their work.

Hayden brings years of professional experience as a performer, producer, and mentor. A past collaborator in HOTA’s Those Who Rock and a featured artist across national campaigns, Netflix, and major music festivals, Hayden is passionate about helping young artists find their sound and build confidence in their voice.

Workshop includes:

• Lyric writing and melody development
• Collaborative songwriting activities
• Introduction to basic recording techniques using mobile or classroom tools
• Opportunities to record and workshop original songs

This workshop is open to students of all experience levels - instruments are welcome but not required, and no prior training is necessary.
