
Claudio Kirac
Claudio Kirac is a contemporary artist living and creating on the lands of the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region, Gold Coast. His work explores nostaligia, harmony, memory shared experience and joy. Kirac has a multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, design, photography and installation. He investigates the intersections between analogue and digital processes, contemporary art and popular culture. Across a career of more than 25 years, his work has entered the collections of HOTA, Home of the Arts, the National Library of Australia, NYC State Library and Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific. He has also been a finalist in the Harden Landscape Prize and Darling Portrait Prize.
