March – Writing Home

Facilitated by award-winning writer Christine Betts, we will take inspiration from the current exhibition Magic + Memory: make me a home exhibition. Through a series of fun, interactive exercises participants will learn how to generate ideas for their writing on ideas about home.

#Facilitator Bio

Christine Betts writes novels about women, love, and art, award-winning short stories about sisters and Bali, and blogs about creativity and the inner life. A firm believer that creatives will save humanity, Christine writes daily and passionately encourages everyone around her to join in.

Christine trained in education and the arts and has worked as a giftware designer, artist, restorer, brand manager and art seller. She is an active member of the Gold Coast Writers’ Association and facilitates their popular critique group and is a regular ‘In Conversation’ host for Richmond-Tweed Libraries’ author events. She lives on Bundjalung country with her family and two spoiled cats.
