Gathering place that locals love, and visitors must see.
To offer inspiration, discovery and connection.
HOTA—where art meets life
In tropical parklands with the Surfers Paradise skyline as the backdrop, HOTA Home of the Arts is a contemporary cultural precinct where art meets life.
HOTA is the Gold Coast’s home of live performances, lake-side strolls, stargazing, cinema-watching, art, conversation and new-ideas.
Imagine a place where art captures your imagination. Where art is for everyone, where art is for life.
Real events, real people, real experiences
We’re opening our doors to artists. We believe art thrives when there is collaboration, mentorship and shared ideas.
Community, conversation and creativity
HOTA’s outdoor stage is like no other. It’s at the heart of HOTA and a magnet for world-class artists. We believe in community, conversation and creativity, so when we’re not presenting amazing live performances, we’re bringing the parklands alive. Experience dance or yoga on the green, parkrun around the lake and our popular Sunday farmer’s markets, all in one place.
Create, watch, learn, do. Be.
We’re now the home to the Gold Coast Film Festival, and are working with The Farm and Bleached Arts. We offer freedom, space and time to make something different. And there are more opportunities to come.
HOTA is the home for all things creative. A home that brings people together where ideas are transformed into real life experiences. A place where art makes the world a better place.
Our future is bright
We’re building momentum for a richer, deeper arts and culture experience for the Gold Coast. There’s so much more to come at HOTA, Home of the Arts.
